Established in 2006, Machines with Magnets is a contemporary art gallery, cocktail bar, event and performance venue, and renowned recording studio. Our intimate, artistic space offers carefully selected Danish Modern details in a non-traditional layout. Affordable and flexible, with responsive support for seamless execution.
INQUIREThe venue and gallery, two connected but distinct spaces, comprise our 2,000 square foot event space. A private, lighted, and furnished patio area is also included. Dressing room and back of house areas are available on request.
The venue is a flexible space with semi-permanent mid century modern and custom seating, full bar, and audiovisual capabilities. The gallery houses quarterly contemporary art, craft, and design exhibitions, and can accommodate a wide variety of catering and seating arrangements - choose your own vendor, or one of our suggestions. A cozy, lighted, private patio area with a backdrop of historic mill buildings provides a quiet garden space with easy access to off-street parking (the perfect spot for a food truck, too!).
The bar offers a selection of seasonal, classic- and modern classic-focused cocktails, as well as local canned beer, natural wine, locally produced and craft spirits, and plenty of spirit free options.
